JOE awards-American Association of Endodontics
The AAE proudly recognizes Journal of endodontics Publication Award recipients and continues the tradition of honoring the achievements. The paper "bone regeneration effect of nanochitosan woth or without temporally controlled release of dexamethasone" , in the category of basic science: biology has been selected as an honorable mention in the year's JOE awards program. JOE Award winners will be recognized on an April 17,2024 in JW Marriott Los Angeles.
One-Day Digital Dentistry Workshop
In an exciting collaborative effort, Rayan Nozhan Teb Pars and the Prosthodontics Department hosted a one-day workshop titled "Exploring the Cycle of Oral Scanners and 3D Printers in Dentistry." The event was held on Wednesday, February 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 14:00 PM, at Mashhad Dental School. Faculty and postgraduate students participated in this workshop. It promised an in-depth look at the innovative world of oral scanning and 3D printing technologies, which represents a significant leap forward in dental education and practice.
Dental Materials and Techniques Journal
The Dental Materials and Techniques journal (J Dent Mater Tech) of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences has been recently indexed in Scopus. This achievement marks the journal as the third worldwide in the field of dental materials to be indexed in Scopus, joining two other prestigious titles from the United Kingdom and Japan. Scopus indexing is highly esteemed, with many international university ranking systems relying on publications indexed in this database.
Top Position of Mashhad Dental School in orthodontics board examination
Throughout the 34 orthodontics board exams held in the country, Mashhad Dental School has achieved the best score in 17 exams, reflecting the high quality of education in this department. Mashhad Dental School provides two fellowships, Cleft lip and Palate and Ortho-surgery, in the orthodontics department. The first postgraduate international student has been also graduated from this department.

The Dean and Faculty of Damascus University and Sham Al-Khasa University from Syria visited Mashhad Dental School on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, to expand scientific and research cooperation.
